Public Page
Why a Public Page?
Give your league a permanent, shareable home page that anyone can visit without an account. Perfect for posting on social media, sharing with prospective players, or linking from your club's website. The page lives at a friendly URL like pages.leaguedispatcher.com/c/your-slug and is fast, mobile-friendly, and SEO-ready out of the box.
Privacy by Design
Player names, scores, badges, and individual stats are never shown on the public page. Only aggregate, anonymous information appears — a player count and the number of games over a recent window. Your members' identities stay private even when the page is publicly indexed.
What You Can Put on It
Pick a URL slug, write a short tagline, and optionally fill in About, Schedule, Location, and a Contact email. Each section has its own on/off toggle, so you can show only what's relevant. An additional toggle lets you display anonymous league activity (player count + games in the recent window).
Language
Choose English or French for the page chrome — section headings, the footer, and the HTML language attribute all switch accordingly. Your own text (tagline, about, schedule, location) is rendered exactly as you typed it, in whichever language you wrote it.
Safe-Content Guardrails
Because the page is public and indexable, every save is screened by an AI safety review. Sexual, violent, hateful, gambling, or promotional content is rejected and never goes live. URLs, links, and structural HTML are stripped automatically before publication — keep it plain prose. Promo codes, affiliate links, and personal data are not allowed and will be removed or block the save.
You are solely responsible for the content you publish. Repeated policy violations may result in your league being banned and its data deleted without notice.
Setting It Up
Go to Setup > Public page. Pick an available URL slug (3–50 lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens), fill in the sections you want to show, toggle Enable public page, and save. Once approved, the page is live immediately at the displayed URL. You can revisit and edit at any time — every save is re-screened.
Search-Engine Friendly
The page emits proper meta tags (title, description, canonical URL, Open Graph locale), a stable ETag for browser caching, and a sitemap entry, so search engines can discover and index your league.
Permissions
Editing the public page requires the Manage Public Page permission. The page itself is open to the world once enabled — no permission is needed to visit it.
