AI Team Suggestions (Experimental)
League Dispatcher can use AI to suggest how to split players into balanced teams after they are assigned to a court. This feature is experimental, optional, and off by default.
This feature is experimental and off by default. AI suggestions are optional — they do not affect dispatch or game results. The quality of suggestions depends on the AI model and available game history. Results are not guaranteed.
How It Works
When enabled, the system can suggest how to split players into teams after they are assigned to a court. For example, on a 4-player court, the AI analyzes Elo ratings, recent partnership history, and win rates to recommend which two players should team up against the other two.
The suggestion appears as a small sparkle icon on the court card after dispatch. Tap it to see the recommended team split and a brief explanation of the AI's reasoning. You can dismiss the suggestion at any time — it has no effect on the game.
After dispatch assigns players to a court, the system sends player stats and recent game history to an AI model in the background. The AI returns a suggested team split with a brief explanation. The suggestion arrives via real-time push (SignalR) within a few seconds. If the AI call fails or times out, no suggestion appears — the game continues normally.
How to Enable
Go to Game Settings and turn on the AI Team Recommendations toggle. The feature is off by default for all leagues. Once enabled, suggestions will appear automatically after each dispatch. You can turn it off at any time.
